THINGS THAT NEED TO BE CONSIDERED:
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Have a minimum average of 60% in your final year of studies
- Adaptability: Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methods in aquaculture
- Experience Bonus: Vacation or part-time work experience is a plus
- Outdoor Enthusiast: Willingness to work in a farm environment
- Bachelor of Sciences in Natural Science with a core focus on Ichthyology, Fishery Science, Zoology, Marine Biology or Aquaculture studies
- Physical Fit: Capability to perform manual tasks and endure farm conditions

What You Will Do:
- Experiment & Analyse: Participate in experimental design, setup, and data analysis.
- Learn the Ropes: Explore various processes in abalone farming, from diatom culture to abalone growth and production regulations.
- Hands-On Research: Assist the Research and Development Technician with daily tasks and manage research projects.
- Field Sampling: Collect and analyse samples, gaining real-world experience in aquaculture.
