Our NBL COFFEE AND CREAMER FACTORY is one of our most dynamic and complex sites, and we produce some of South Africa's favourite instant and roasted coffee and coffee creamers, including:

What you will be doing:
- Comprehensive Process Involvement: Engage in process design and PID, process control, data mining, and data analysis.
- Dive into research and development activities with practical tasks including:
- Process Mass and Energy Balance: Master the fundamentals of process optimisation and plant stability.
- Hands-On Factory Exposure: Get directly involved with our fast-moving food manufacturing processes, gaining invaluable factory-level experience.
- Process Optimisation: Contribute to enhancing efficiencies and maintaining plant stability.
- Innovation Support: Provide both theoretical and practical support for product and process innovations.
- Specifications and Performance Review: Monitor and control specifications for raw materials and process inputs to ensure top quality.
- What you will need to be considered:
- A Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Engineering with a major in Chemical Engineering is essential
- A Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Engineering Honours or Masters in Chemical Engineering will be advantageous
- A minimum average of 60% in the final year of studies
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt quickly and ask questions in a fast-paced factory environment, embrace different approaches and thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Experience Bonus: Vacation or part-time work experience is a plus.
- Effective Communicator: Ability to relate to and communicate confidently across various organisational levels.
- Flexible Availability: Willingness to travel between our factories and work overtime and shifts as our factory operates continuously and flexibility is essential.
- Factory Enthusiast: Willingness to work in a manufacturing and factory environment with minimal office work.
